Whether you accept it or not, all of us look forward to February for a very obvious reason. To nobody’s surprise it is the ever-so-awaited, Valentine’s Day. We shop in advance, book tables, make plans, think of the craziest ideas to implement and most of all, we all wish to look our best.
V-day is no more restricted to couples, friends enjoy it in groups equally, so basically everybody dresses up on this occasion to paint the town red… And, by ‘Red’ I literally mean red, no other colour looks more radiant and ravishing on this occasion. Keeping that in mind, I decided to put together two different outfits for my lovelies and make-up looks to go along with each of them.
So, here’s the first one.So, here’s the first one.
It is more of a stylish and chic day look which you can wear for a cozy lunch with your valentine or friends. It would be a perfect selection if you are going for movies or just hanging out with your partner. Let’s see what do we have here. To start with, I picked a peplum top since peplum is a rage currently and looks effortlessly stylish. To compliment the black shade and add the right amount of colour, I added a pair of bright red coloured denims. Since the days are beginning to get warmer, you can skip anything to wear over the top. As we have two solid colours in the outfit and it sometimes gives a slightly monotonous look, you could add a printed scarf to break the monotony. Here I have added a leopard print in a warm brown colour which adds some edge to the outfit as well. As for the accessories, keep them classy in gold. A gold cuff, cute heart shaped ear-studs, metallic gold pumps and a black satchel shall complete your look.
Since the outfit makes a huge statement, we will keep the make-up subtle yet very attractive. Start off with priming your face with Oriflame Beauty Face Primer for long staying make-up throughout the day. Dab a light foundation, conceal the imperfections and set your foundation with a loose powder.
Now, take a jet black liner, apply a thick winged eyeliner and oodles of mascara. For a natural looking blush, add a natural pink or peach blush to the apple of cheeks and a romantic pink lip gloss on to the lips. To add slightly more shine, take a champagne coloured eye shadow and place it right over your cheek bones, bridge of your nose and on the cupid bow…and tada, you’re ready to rock your Valentine’s Day.
